Spring is definitely here…. it was weeks ago :) Not that I’m complaining, because I LOVE this weather and would be fine if it stayed this beautiful all year long. Perfect weather for picnics, leisurely strolls, and pictures in the park!

Last week, Collin and I headed over to the Glass Cactus in Grapevine, TX to see our favorite country music man Eric Paslay. The native Texan singer/songwriter is now living in Nashville and living the dream. He was recently signed onto Capital Records, woo hoo! You have probably heard his work, as he co-wrote “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”, penned “Friday Night” on Lady Antebellum’s last album as well as the latest hit “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” by the Eli Young Band. He is headed to big places and we are so excited to see where life leads him :) We’re also pretty partial to him as he is Collin’s cousin, and was the best man in our wedding :)

This is Auryana, a precious princess indeed! She has quite a personality and kept her grandma and me in stitches throughout the shoot. I had such a fun time with her, and she kept the day lively and full of energy. Here are a few things that I learned about her: favorite color is pink, she is about to celebrate her 5th birthday, she like to tell stories about clowns and mermaids, and she despises bugs. A true girly girl through and through :)
We went to Canton, TX for the first time yesterday to see what the flea market was all about. There were so many booths to browse through, it was overwhelming. I was drawn to the old glass pieces that were in abundance. Here are a few shots from the day.
