myPhone Monday

Hello again! It’s been a while since my last post and I have made a mid-year resolution (kinda later than mid year :)  shhhhhhhh) to be much better about this.  So to stay inspired and to make it easier on myself, I have come up with different themes for certain days of the week. Today’s theme is myPhone Monday.  These are, and will be, pictures that I have taken with my phone.  This will be Monday’s them until I decide I’m bored and move on to a new theme :) Since I am always taking pictures with my phone, I figured this would be a good way to start the week off.

These pictures were taken from our recent trip. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary (what, what!).  We went to South Padre Island for some relaxation and rest.  We stopped by Sea Turtle Inc. which is a really great rehabilitation/conservation center for injured sea turtles. I would recommend it if you are ever in the area.  We also got up early and walked down to the beach to watch the sunrise, went on a nature walk, rode jetskis, ate some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, and hung out on the beach of course. It was a short but lovely little vacation. :) Here’s to many more years together! I love you Collin!

Hills of China Ranch

I have been blessed this year by being able to travel to various places I have never been before. Here are some pictures from one of those trips. These are taken at China Ranch, a date farm in California, where two of my favorite people got hitched :)  My friend’s aunt and uncle run this date ranch and we had the luxury of exploring the land the day before the wedding.  It was amazing to see the beautiful rolling hills, the date trees, the sheer cliffs and to experience such silence.  It was relaxing to say the least.  A big thanks to Maile and Clayton for sharing this diamond in the rough with me!
